The work of the famous potter of Hagi ware, "Deishi Shibuya". This tea bowl is the light blue Hagi ware called Nezumi-Hagi. The whole tea bowl is covered with the straw-ashes glaze which Mr. Deishi studied over 30 years. The motif of his work is old huge cherry tree "Usuzumi-Sakura" specified as the Japanese natural treasure. The work is made for the bark of the cherry tree seen from between flowers to the model.
