HAGI,Deishi,a TOTOYA Tea Bowl W/Notched Foot,Hole-kiln
This work is Mr. DEISHI SHIBUYA's work for the famous ceramist of Hagi ware.
This work is called WARI-KOUDAI TOTOYA CHAWAN (TOTOYA Tea Bowl with Notched Foot).
The lavender color called "YOUHEN" (wood-fired in reduction) generated when it burns with firewood is very beautiful.
KOU-DAI (Foot) is called WARI-KOUDAI(Notched Foot), and serves as a big highlight of the Hagi ware teabowl.
The mark of Deish is pushed on the bottom of a work.
