Exceptional low table decorated with the crests of Tachibana Samurai family. Relativly small area governed by Tachibana Lords is famous for a river port and extensive trading skills , making Tachibana one of the wealthier Daimyos in the south . The villa alond with the large european inspired house is still preserved till this days and serves as a museum and a garden.
This tray was a part of the household items or perhaps was presented to a neighboring lords or wealthy merchants as a token of gratitude and friendship .
Tray is in relatively good condition with just a few scuffs on the inner area ..some minor scratches .
