| Very fine signed “Kantan Otoku” Noh mask(wooden). In Noh, Kantan Otoku is a young man who awakens from a dream about prosperity to realize the vanity of his life. Sometimes this mask is also used to portray a dashing god. Given its history, this mask was made to be very beautiful. Dates to later Meiji-taisho period. Dimensions: 20/14cm. | ||||||||
