| SCIENCE Methuen, London, 1921 First Edition. Hardback. Dust Jacket., 1921. 8vo. pp xi, 246. Original publisher's royal blue cloth lettered gilt on spine. Translated by Henry L. Brose book measures 5 5/8 inches wide by 8 7/8 .The cover and spine are in wonderful condition for the age of the book! reference to the publishing date is on translator Henry L. Brose's note which states Oxford 1921. The title page lists E.P. Dutton and Company as the publishers, and the very last page has the words PRINTED BY MORRISON AND GIBB LIMITED EDINBURGH. The following is from a review I found online. The name of Albert Einstein, firmly attached to the important physical theory of Relativity, has become of interest to the whole world. Accounts of Dr. Einstein's work are already many and various, but his personality has not yet become well-known. Mr. Moszkowski, a profound admirer and close companion of the now famous professor, lifts the veil in this entertaining and informing volume, and in describing many long and profoundly interesting discussions he has had with Dr. Einstein on all kinds of subjects, scientific and other, he illuminates for us the thought-world and personality of the great scientist. | ||
