| Stunning example of early treen ware. This tankard and tray are made of oak with silver plate embellishments. I have not polished up the silver as some prefer the piece is in natural worn condition. Signed on the inside of the lid, St. Louis Silver Co. There is a silver liner inside the tankard so it was meant to be used as well as being decorative. The tray measures approximately 14 1/4" and the tankard measures 17 3/4" in height. The knob on the top tilts slightly and it needs a good silver polishing but, otherwise in excellent antique condition. | ||||||||||
