Carved Wooden Daruma sculpture. Daruma is known for bringing Zen Buddhism to Japan. This carving is from a very interesting type of wood possibly even a type of bamboo. Artist signed on the bottom. Measurements: Approximately 8" by 5" Age: Mid 20th Century Condition: There are two age cracks in the wood but otherwise, excellent. |
