Theodore Karner (1885-1966) was a known artist for Rosenthal. He designed and created many of their porcelain figurines of animals. This is a rare hand painted plaque done by him. It is signed on the front and the back. It is a portrait of a beautiful, well, defined horse on shiny white porcelain. Encased in a later frame. Measurements: Plaque: 12 1/2" by 10 1/2"; with frame" 16 1/2" by 14 1/4" Age: Early 290th Century Condition: Excellent Please wait for an invoice as I cannot accurately estimate final weight. |
