This Roseville Wisteria 639-10" vase sports the largest, darkest, deepest blue background of any example I have ever seen. And everybody who sees it agrees! Just splendid! The shape is also tall enough and cylindrical enough that the wisteria pattern "reads" extremely well.

Excellent example for the advanced collector. No ...click for details

Available. Price: $150.00. Email me to purchase.

This luscious mini is 2-7/8" t. and begs to be caressed and studied. It's a Rookwood vase, design 6319F, dated XXXII (for 1932). Glazed in an almost iridescent or lustrous celadon green, very Chinese in appearance--in the art deco manner--and reminiscent of the earlier glaze experiments at Rookwood called "nacreous."

This outstanding 5.75" porcelain enamel on copper was made in 1979 by James Modarelli (d. 2002), who graduated from the Cleveland School (now Institute) of Art in 1938 and for many years was a designer for NASA. The abstract application of color creates a unique and expressive landscape effect.

This beautifully detailed 7-3/8" t. figurine is an example of German china-porcelain, with hand-painted colors. The piece has a mark that is unknown to me, with two capital K letters (the right one reversed), a small cloverleaf at the top and a small crown at the bottom, both between the KK. Beneatht he mark is the word Germany in italic type.
