This approx. 5" t. x 5.5" art enamel is hand-painted porcelain, applied to a copper base. With the oak frame, it measures 8.75" t. x 9-1/8". Colors are mainly Prussian blue, magenta, pink, purple, and black on a white background. Scene depicts minarets and mosque type towers, making me think of Russia, and there is a yellow hand-painted artist signature, which appears to be in Cyrillic (although perhaps Hebrew or Arabic). ...click for details

This design is a pair of Art Deco 3-7/8" salt and pepper shakers with decal decoration, shapes 633 and 634. These Wild West motifs are really fun. The color portions depict The Colt Peacemaker rifle and the River Boat Gamblers Favorite pistol. In the background, in brown, are a cowboy gunslinger, cliffs, and a wagon being ambushed by three men with drawn gun.
