Pitkin Glass Works Souvenir Postcard DAR 1935
This unusual 5-3/8" x 3-1/2" commemorative postcard depicts the "Ruins of the Pitkin Glass Works, Manchester," along with examples of the bottles that were made there. On the back, the text reads "Official Post Card of / The Tercentenary of Connecticut" / Built in 1783 for the manufacture of glass. Bottles / were the chief products." Then... "COPYRIGHT 1935, AND PUBLISHED BY / CONNECTICUT DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION."

The card is in very good to excellent condition. In fact, I can't find anything to comment on!

American glass historians and bottle collectors may like this souvenir as a conversation piece to accompany a vintage collection. First class shipping and materials will cost $1.50.
