This 3-3/8" x 5.25" souvenir postcard depicts THE LARKIN FACTORIES, Buffalo, N.Y. / OVER FIFTY ACRES OF FLOORS. A legend at the bottom reads The Larkin Co. are the World's largest Manufacturers of Soaps and Toilet Preparations and are Important Pure Food Specialists. The entire output of the Larkin Factories goes direct from Factory to Family thus saving for customers the profits and expenses of wholesalers and retailers. / VISITORS WELCOME! The original factory is shown at upper right. On the back the card has an August 25, 1911 postmark and a green 1 cent Ben Franklin stamp, along with an ink message to Miss Lina Noltjen, Pittsburg, Pa., reading "We are visiting here today." Minor bumps to the corners. |
