This design is a streamlined 9" x 5-5/8" x 3" t. (overall length) with wooden handles, designed for Raymor as part of Hyalyn's 1953 Raymor Capri line, by designer Michael Lax, shape number not known. (This is according to Michael Pratt, of www.modish.net.) Glossy white porcelain-like glaze. No visible marks.
The wooden handles have been painted brown, so I assume the finish was not very good under the paint. And several people have told me these are probably replacement handles--as the originals were probably more streamlined. No nicks, chips, hairlines or repairs.
NOTE: If you see a pink spot in an odd place in my photos, it's just a reflection caused by the camera.
