This vintage comic book is the standard size of about 10-1/8" x 6-5/8". As shown on the cover, this is the FIRST issue of DEVIL DINOSAUR, "Also featuring Moon Boy, the First Human!" Artist Jack Kirby.
Average condition. Front lower right cover was bent. There are some minor nicks along the bottom edges of some pages, and browning inside.
I love the retro advertisement for such things as The Super Sea Monkeys, which inspired a peculiar episode of South Park; the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew T-Shirts (including very poor b/w images of former child-youth celebrity actors Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson, but unfortunately not Pamela Sue Martin); the Spiderman Web-maker; candy bars like Clark Zagnut; muscle man bodybuilder enticements; and more horrors that caused my mother to forbid reading comic books about 10 years earlier.
Check out the bizarre anti-crime strip-let called "Spider-Man Spoils a Snatch!" And then STAR WARS memorabilia to order, along with a back cover telling young boys and girls why it's a great idea to peddle packets of fast-selling American Seeds to all your neighbors!
Can you really live without this little trip down memory lane?
Ohio residents must pay local sales tax on the final bid. Shipping of $2.50 is additional.
NOTE: If you see a pink spot in an odd place in my photos, it's just a reflection caused by the camera. My apologies if the colors seem "off," but I am experimenting with a new camera.
