| Adam Style Neoclassical Mirror. In carved gilt frame surmounted by an urn and festooned with flowers and leaves. The Adam style is identified with a decorative mix of motifs such as vases and grotesque figures and ornaments such as flowers, swags and leaves. The urn at the top draped with flowers and leaves is typical Adam style. Along with the figure at the base of a female torso and face, this is a classic example of Adam ornamentation from top to bottom. Circa 1780. Size: 37.5" L x 14.25" W. | |||||||||
