| This is an absolutely charming portrait in oil on masonite of a young girl in a big hat. Marantz studied at the Art Student League. He exhitited at the Guggenheim Museum, MOMA, Metropolitan Museum, the Whitney and more. He is listed in Davenport, Who Was Who in American Art, and Mallett among others. There are a few paint losses which I have pictured. Signed in the lower right corner. Framed in a gilt and painted wood frame. The measurements are 14.5" by 18" in the frame. | ||||||||
