| Offered here is one of two early 20th century giltwood, trumeau style mirrors with classical figures in relief in the top panel. Each mirror has slightly different figures in the top panel, but work well as a pair, if one desires, since they are identical in every other aspect. These were made in Italy, and bought in Italy, and date to around 1930-1940 in my estimation. There is some wear to the edges, as is typical of this type of work, but I consider that an enhancement rather than a detraction. The mirror is very pretty, with wavy old glass and some slight spotting (which I prefer). The size of each is approximately 12.75" by 30". | ||||||
