| These are wonderful, large jugs with great rustic appeal. Each ewer is approximately 16.5" high with an applied handle. The armorial design is in vivid colors on a white (more or less) ground. The handle has a red painted leaf design, the spout is trimmed in red. One of the ewers has been professionally repaired. You cannot tell at all that has been repaired, except that it is the clean one. The other ewer is in excellent condition. I was told that these were 19th century. I will say they date to the turn of the century till about 1920. These are fabulous! | |||||||||
