| 10 (ten) Gaudy Welsh plates in the oyster pattern, made by Allertons, circa 1912. Each plate is 10" in diameter with a scalloped edge. The edge is trimmed in a deep rose red enamel. The front of the plate has the typical design in indigo, iron red, rose, green, and pink and copper lustre. Very few flaws in any of the plates...some small losses to the enamel around the edge, some minor crazing, and that's about all. All 10 plates would make a stunning display on a wall or in a cabinet, but a single plate is just as lovely anywhere. | ||||||
