| Here we have a fine, detailed painting of a woman holding a young girl in an embrace. The painting is hand painted on porcelain and framed in a gilt wood frame, which is again framed in a shadowbox frame under glass. There is no signature on the front or the back. The painting is meticulously rendered and is in excellent condition. There is a repair to the giltwood frame at the bottom. The painting measures 11.5" by 13.75" in the frame. The image is approximately 4.75" by 7". The painting is European, possibly Austrian, and dates to around 1880. | |||||
