| Here we have a most delightful, hand carved wood Black Forest frame with a much later mirror. The carving is fine and detailed in a wood and foliage motif. The wood is quite dark and has a lovely patina. Shooting a picture in certain locations inside my shop sometimes does funny things to color, but I'm sure you know the mirror is not cobalt blue or purple, as it sort of looks on my monitor. The frame measures 19" by 24" and is in very fine condition. I believe there is only one loss, which is at the very bottom where a leaf end was nipped off at some point. | |||||||
