| Here we have a wonderful religious artifact that dates to the 18th-19th century. They are carved of wood, were gessoed and enameled over that. Very little of that remains, more gesso than enamel, but you can see small areas of skin toned paint on the tops of both feet. They are almost life sized, well formed and well carved, and a wonderful relic. They measure approximately 8" in length. | ||
