|This is a Chippendale shape footed tray in silver on copper with an armorial motif in the center raised on pay feet. It measures 9" by 7.5". It is in good condition, with surface scratches and copper bloom in some areas around the edge and in the lines of the decoration in the center. The tray is marked with a tiny stamp that looks like an arm holding a mallet or a tomahawk, neither of which have I been able to find in my reference materials. On the opposite edge there is another small stamp with 3 initials, the first two of which are unreadable, the third initial being S. I'm uncertain of the date, but will go with early 20th century.|
