| Offered here is a charming writing desk or table, made in Paris circa 1900- 1920. The top is hand painted faux marble with a beveled edge. The legs are reeded with brass caps. Two dovetailed drawers with original brass hardware. The interior of the right hand drawer contains the furniture maker's label. The wood may be cherry. The table measures table measures 35" by 21.5" and is 29.5" high. The condition is excellent in terms of the structure of the table. There are some losses to the faux marble paint on the top in a few places, and one of the legs in the back is slightly bowed. Altogether charming and desirable. | ||
