| This is a great Old Florida collectible. The doll is a male figure, handmade of Florida Palmetto. His clothing is the spectacular traditional costume of patchwork in bright colors of red and gold, fuschia, orange, garnet and navy. He stands 15" high and is in excellent condition except for whatever may be under the band-aid on his knee, (see enlargement #4). I have not peeked under it. These dolls were made for Florida tourists in the 1950's and are a wonderful reminder of perhaps my state's most colorful period in recent history. | |||||||
