| Offered here is a fabulous cold painted polychrome metal blackamoor match safe that would date to the late 19th-early 20th century. The figure has a wicker basket (metal)strapped to his back and another one at his feet. He is in knee britches painted in a cream and gold stripe pattern. He is standing on a circular gold painted base. The figure and the basket are screwed into the base. There are some small losses to the paint most obvious just above the figure's knees. The match safe measures 5" in height. | ||||||
