| Here we have a very lovely small painting depicting a landscape in a forest. There is a path next to a stream lined with trees whose leaves have begun to turn. It is very nicely painted and the dark cool forest evokes a feeling of serenity. The painting is framed in a beautiful 19th century gilt wood frame. The frame has some dings here and there and a small repair on a corner or two, but nothing obvious or detracting. The painting is on canvas laid down on board. The image is approximately 7" by 8". The frame is 12" by 13". | ||
