| Oh, this is a terribly fun necklace! It has lots and lots of work on it in the hand carved bone and wood beads, some large and some quite tiny. The chain is made of round wood beads with nice graining, the carved bone beads, which are offset with small, intricately carved wooden beads. As you get down to the pendant, there are gold beads and then graduated carved wooden beads, going from smaller to larger. Delicate filigree connects the necklace to the pendant. The pendant is in the shape of a horseshoe, inset with tiny gold beads, tiny carved wooden beads and a cobalt colored scarab hangs from the center. The scarab has beads hanging from it, and the ends of the horseshoe has the filigree connectors with more carved wooden beads. It is something to see! The necklace is about 30" long and the pendant drops from the necklace about 3" in all. Truly a wonderful piece. | ||
