| I love this dog. And I've never seen another like him before, and I have no idea of the breed. He is lithe and lean, graceful and obedient, and I love all that about this animal. My favorite thing, however, is the expression on his face. He looks worried. He looks like a James Thurber dog to me, and for that he is my favorite. This dog was cast in 3 pieces...2 sides and the bottom. It is in excellent condition, and has a nice patina that comes from a hundred years of being touched. The size is 5.5" wide by 3.5" high. Late 19th century. | ||
