| This small snuff bottle is from the late 19th or early 20th Century. Originating from China it depicts tree peonies on a yellow background containing stylized clouds. The rims and spoon are gilded as also appears to be the interior. There is no damage to the enamel only the pitting normally found on pieces of this age. These early items show a much better quality of workmanship than most of the more modern pieces. Nice pieces to collect if interested in antique cloisonné at the more modest end of the market. | |||||
