YIXING ZISHA TEAPOT DEPICTING A FISH TRANSFORMING TO A DRAGON. The dragons head moves in and out of the lid. An illustration (Plate 227) of a similar piece can be found in the catalogue for K.S. Lo Collection held in the Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware, Hong Kong. This example dates from the first part of the 20th Century. In good condition with no obvious damage there is an indistinct makers mark inside the lid. |
