YIXING ZISHA TEAPOT OF TREE TRUNK FORM. A nicely crafted piece from the first part of the 20th Century. The enameled spout and handles are formed as gnarled branches from which emanate bamboo and pine foliage. A bat is incorporated in the decoration for good luck. There is a I’Hsing seal mark to the base and potter’s mark inside the lid. It is in excellent condition with just one tiny little chip to the edge of the lid. The height to the top of the lid is 3.75 inches (9.5 cms). |
