This lovely little buckle would date to the late 19th or early 20th Century.
The design of fleur de lys is moulded into the metal so strictly speaking this piece is champleve rather than cloisonne. It was probably produced in Europe, possibly France. There is no damage to the enamel but the metal straps on the back are a little bent. |
