THIS IS A SUPER LITTLE JAPANESE CLOISONNE CINQUEFOIL DISH FROM THE THE WORKSHOP OF INABA NANAHO. It depicts using very fine silver wire a bird and prunus upon a background of jet black enamel (The invention of Namikawa Yasayuki in 1879). The dish is in great condition apart from having a small chip to the reverse and wear to the gilded rims. Inaba’s mark is enameled on the back in silver wire. |
