Presented here is a very nicely crafted Japanese ‘D’ shaped box, 1.75 inches tall.
Constructed of copper and (I believe) gun metal its three sections slide very snugly together. It is currently shown being used as a vesta, but I am uncertain as to whether this was its original purpose. View the pictures to determine what you think it was made for.
