YIXING ZISHA TEAPOT DEPICTING A FISH TRANSFORMING TO A DRAGON. The dragons head moves in and out of the lid. Similarly its tongue flicks out of the head. An illustration (Plate 227) of a similar piece can be found in the catalogue for K.S. Lo Collection held in the Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware, Hong Kong. This example dates from the first part of the 20th Century. In good condition this pot has no chips or cracks There is an indistinct potters mark inside the lid but no seal mark on the base.
