Koro by Teramoto Mamoru
sold

This attractive koro (incense burner) was made by a renowned potter named Teramoto Mamoru, born in Kanagawa prefecture in 1949. Teramoto Mamoru has exposed in numerous venues in Japan, among which the famous Kikuchi biennale in Tokyo (2007). He has also exhibited in the U.S.A. and in France, whose Musée de la Céramique de Sèvres has acquired one of his works.

This sobre yet strong piece looks like a simpler work by the artist, yet it radiates his unique creative energy.
