Very finely carved three color Beijing glass baluster vase with two dragons in deep red circling the exterior amidst fire brands and clouds above crashing waves all on a white ground with a pink glass everted rim, the base unmarked. 18th/19th C. 5 in. high.
Condition: Perfect. No cracks, chips or other damages. Provenance: Acquired from a Connecticut estate in 1997 This is not a modern reproduction. The photos show how the red overlay of glass has been carved away to the white glass body, something not duplicated in modern reproductions.
