| Nostalgic Western bronze patinated spelter sculpture signed by artist with copyright symbol. Perfect for office or study for those those love the old west and its heroes. Signature appears to be Stephen or Steffan. There is a very famous artist, sculpture and illustrator who died in 1977. He is well documented and known for his historical military, Calvary and horse drawings, the old west as well as illustrator for many children books, i.e. Gene Autry. and on a study on the American cowboy drifter. Randy Stephen museum exhibit in Cisco, Tx. Since I can not prove that this is one of his works it is not being priced as such as being sold at a much lesser price unauthenticated but a fine vintage western art collectible. Measurement: 16" Height x 8" base. Weight: 5lb. 13 oz. Note: Spelter is less expensive than bronze and many artists worked in both bronze casting and spelter which is an iron, zinc oxide with bronze finishing. | ||||||||||
