| Sage Green Jasperware candle holders by Wedgwood. These attractive sage jasper candlesticks are decorated with crisp, white bas-relief of classical laurel leaf pattern surrounds the base. Hallmark impressed: "WEDGWOOD" "MADE IN ENGLAND" "MB". "68" Excellent condition. MEASUREMENT: 3-1/2" BASE DIAMETER. The sage green Wedgwood pieces are highly coveted and most rare. History: Jasperware is a durable unglazed stoneware and is white in natural state and was first introduced by the English potter Josiah Wedgwood in 1775 and is still produced by Wedgwood's today. It is made in a range of colors like pale cobalt blue, sage green, olive green, lilac, lavender and silky black.
