| Gerard Dufraisseix Abbot (GDA) Limoges Porcelain Manufactures. This lovely 20th century Art Nouveau style large ladies footed dresser jar is beautiful. Hallmarked. GDA, France which is a major Limoges factory in France. Two movements influenced the Limoges style, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, predominated in the first half of the 20th century. Art Nouveau was brought to Limoges porcelain design initially through work by the GDA Factory at the Universal Exhibition in Chicago in 1892 and commissioned further work from the factory in collaboration with Limoges artists.
