This is a grand size French baguette keeper used in the Patisserie to display their breads. Decorators: This would be a great piece for floral arrangements, umbrella holders, or French country decor.
French leather purse or holder possibly used to hold cards, photos, cigarettes, etc. The metal clasp opens the purse to show two pockets. The pocket on the left is embossed with possibly the name of the maker, followed by the location, PARIS. An ornate metal (silver?) monogram decorates the front corner.
Eastern European burlap with double red broad stripes and red monogram S T. Like a large sack, which would make a great bolster pillow. Or, would also be great for upholstry (since it is a sack, it would double in width). The sack measures approximately 58" long and 24 1/4" wide.
Nice size French pitcher, probably used for wine and water (separately, of course). I estimate the age is somewhere pre 1960. It appears to be in excellent condition with no cracks or chips; only firing faults, some of which are visible in the photo (but not as prominent as they appear in the photo). It is decorated with impressed marks creating horizontal bands in different sections around the pitcher...
Beautiful inlay wood, various colors and types, creates a magnificent rooster to adorn this wooden tray. The ribbon band of inlay wood holds the script, "POUR LE PLAISIR DE VOUS SERVIR." This work of art is completely hand crafed and signed, fran. Discovered this wonderful piece while shopping in France. Note bend in one wooden handle. Great old French baskets found while shopping the markets in France. The large round one, the first of it's kind that I've found, measures approx 29" across and is almost 20" from bottom to top of handle. There is also a standing basket used to sell baquettes. Another basket has a lid which closes and a wooden rod weaves through to keep it closed. There is one more which is very interesting and I'm not sure what it's purpose was...

Wonderful architectural ironwork and sign, found in the antique markets of France. the black ironwork is hung to allow the blue antique sign to drop down, and swing for display. Measures approximately 44 inches long and 33 inches tall.
French Sarreguemines asparagus set consists of one large serving platter with an insert for drainage, and 12 individual asparagus plates. Marked Sarreguemines. I need to research the mark to determine age, but a guess-timate is pre 1970. I will update this posting once the date has been researched. Color is a beautiful aqua.
This pretty or handsome box was purchased in France. It has a hinged lid. The top has art work with painting which includes a castle or chateau. A signature is in the lower left, and though the last letter is difficult to read, it appears to be signed, "Myrian." It measures approximately 6 1/2 x 7 inches and almost 3 inches deep.
