French Sarreguemines asparagus set consists of one large serving platter with an insert for drainage, and 12 individual asparagus plates. Marked Sarreguemines. I need to research the mark to determine age, but a guess-timate is pre 1970. I will update this posting once the date has been researched. Color is a beautiful aqua.
Sign, purchased in France, Toilettes, which means bathrooms or restrooms with toilette. Oval shape with black lettering and trim. The camera flash has obscured some of the lettering, but the lettering is complete and evenly colored. Sign for Chambre, Cuisine, Salle de Bain, also available.
Beautiful and interesting French book. Details French tourism during the period 1904 to 190. Filled with great pictures, illustrations and old advertisements. The book itself appears to have a lot of age, but I am unable to locate the actual date of publication. Would estimate possibly around 1910, possibly earlier.

Beautiful Majolica recently purchased at an antique show in France. Magnificent primary color of a light turquoise or aqua with multicolor flowers. Hairline crack visable from the underside. Impressed Sarreguemines mark.
