| KELVA BOX Silk Lined Casket Vanity Box This is a stunning Kelva Vanity Box manufactured by C. F. Monroe Co. of Meriden, Connecticut in 1904. The stunning dark green mottled background accents the multi-colored pink roses with brown and speckled centers. This is an excellent example of Kelva glassware. This glassware resembles Nakara and Wave Crest glassware which was also made by the same Co. This box is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. It measures approximately 2-1/2" high and approximately 3-1/2" wide at its base. The hinge is in good working order. The interior is in wonderful condition, showing only some age as expected for such a piece. The box has stamped in red the trademark "KELVA" with "TRADE" and "MARK" written vertically along its sides as shown in the photo. This is a beautiful box and would make an excellent addition to your box or art glass collection. | ||
