A fine pair of c1890 folding pince-nez glasses or lorgnettes made of 14K yellow gold. These eyeglasses have 1-3/8 x 1" oval lenses, and they have a mounting hook for folding and a loop for suspension by a ribbon or cord. They retain one nosepiece (probably gutta percha, one is missing) and they are is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the one missing nosepiece (they include a partial part of the original cardboard case).
