A 5-1/4" long sterling and Connemara marble topped Edwardian hat pin c1900-10. This pin measures 3/4" across the hand-engraved sterling silver top, which is mounted on a silver plated base and pin. It is stamped E.P.N.S BACK on the underside and STERLING on the edge. This item is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few tiny pinpoint dents on the extreme edge of the top. All

Here's a weird one - a late Victorian mechanical hat form used to size and manufacture hats. This is the scarce Allie Maillard Hat Conformateur from the late 1800s (possibly 1870s-1890s). It is constructed of nickel plated metal with ebonized wood components. It has the Allie Maillard mother of pearl nameplate on the top as well as mother-of-pearl washers under the screws which hold the halves of the base together. It retains the original top with the fitted cork lining, plus the fittings for securing the pins which hold the hat form arms. We're not hatmakers, but we think the pins are held by the cork after they are slid outward for the shape of the hat; the wood upright slides are held in place by the long spring which fits along the extruding grooved wood pieces along the base. This hat form is an excellent survivor, with no losses that we can see. Condition is excellent, with some surface corrosion to the nickel plating, some dirt and dust and minor scrapes to the ebonoized wood, and one broken upright wood slider (intact and easily repaired). Two mother of pearl washers are missing, but this item is in great shape for its age and it is ready for cleaning and refurbishing. A must for your shop or collection. All

An elegant Art Deco period ring in 10k yellow and white gold with a bezel-set lapis lazuli stone c1920s. This size 5-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 7/16 inches across the top, and the shank and shoulders are yellow gold, with the bezel setting around the stone being white gold. The lapis lazuli stone is genuine, but is not highly polished (see pictures). A mid-Victorian hand-carved sardonyx cameo set in (tested) 18k yellow gold. The stone is very thick and the carving is superb, depicting an Elizabethan lady. This pin measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/8", it has a hook on the back for suspension from a necklace and it has a fancy c-clasp with a rest for the pin tip. It has a tiny eagle hallmark on the outside of the retaining loop for the pin (not pictured) and it weighs 13.1 grams. This embossed match holder was made by Bryant & Mays and it has a glued-on paper litho view of the fair. A fine quality late Victorian hand-engraved photo locket c1880s-1890s. This 2-3/4 x 1-5/8" (including bale) locket feature fine hand engraving on the front and a plain back; the cartouche is unengraved and the bale is stamped STL'g SILVER. It has a photo bezel on the inside and it weighs 19.1 grams.
