A true cameo rarity. This is a vintage 19th century hand-carved pink coral unset cameo of a high relief dog. Superbly detailed, and more a sculpture than a simple cameo, this 1 x 3/4" piece of art is unsigned, and it has a slight pinkish hue. It is 5/16" at its thickest, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight stress crack above the dog's head which doesn't disturb the surface of the coral. A wonderful looking vintage late Victorian 1-3/8 x 1" rolled gold plated oval photo locket on a 19" book-link rolled gold plated chain. The 5/16" wide chain has different engraved designs on each side, and the locket has fine hand tooling on the reverse side. It also has an applied mount with a central pearl surrounded by six natural garnets. It is unsigned, and it has a large springring catch; the interior has two photo bezels and (replaced) plastic windows. A lovely vintage signed Sherman 3" x 1-7/8" pin and 1-1/8" across clip-on earrings c1950s-60. This gilt metal set features Siam or deep cherry red flashy rhinestones with red aurora borealis claw-set stones; both the pin and earrings are signed SHERMAN. The red colour appears either a little dark or a little washy in our pictures, but it is a true red in real life - it was difficult to capture the great red colour and at the same time the beautiful quality of the rhinestones without making some photo compromises (probably need a different camera), so the set definitely looks better in real life. This set is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small chip to one of the small round aurora stones on one earring (barely visible), and the gold plating of the setting has slight gilt wear.
