A nicely made and attractive matching Mexican sterling silver 15" necklace and 7-1/2" bracelet. This set features 9/16" wide paisley-shaped links and hook ends; each is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO 925 AAR STERLING MEXICO with a 3 bell mark. The set weighs 75.6 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some loss to the black patina on the links on the necklace. All

A signed sterling silver and leather (or rubber) Mexican bracelet and necklace signed Gomez Silver. This set consists of the 8-3/4" bracelet with a box clasp, which is signed Gomez Silver in script, and 925. The 16-1/4" matching necklace has a different style of silver clasp, as the previous owner preferred the loop and barbell clasp to the original box clasp, and had it changed. The centre silver sections are a hand cut free-sliding silver cutwork sleeve and the sterling closures are set of with silver sleeves on each side. The black material is either rubber or leather. The bracelet measures 3/16" across the silver, and the necklace is 1/4" across. The bracelet box clasp is stamped GOMEZ SILVER 925, and the replaced sterling loop-and-barbell closure on the necklace is unmarked. The measure of the silver gauge is just under 1 mm. thick, and this set is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the mentioned replaced catch and a 5/16" long shallow cut/scrape to the rubber at one necklace end near the silver sleeve (see pic). In the form of ivy leaves and coiled tendrils, this set consists of the: 15-7/8" necklace, 7-5/8" bracelet (both with hook and loop end) and the 1" long screwback earrings. An attractive 2" pendant pin from Mexico with a large engraved flower on a turquoise and resin ground. The engraved edge and flower are well done, and the ground has inlaid turquoise half-circles against a deep blue resin base. This pin has a loop for wear as a pendant, it has a safety catch, and it weighs a substantial 18.8 grams, it is stamped 925 MEXICO PLATA with EGB and it has a 4 bell or eagle mark. A huge, beautifully made vintage Mexican sterling articulated fish pendant c1950s-60s. This fabulous 5-3/8" x 1-3/4" pendant is set with inlaid turquoise and it has a turquoise cabochon eye; each vertebra in the skeleton is linked to the next segment with silver loops and each piece bends independently. It has a large bale for hanging and three round holes resembling a fish spine (no turquoise there, nor was there, and the interior of these holes has black patination). This wonderful piece is stamped TAXCO 925 MEXICO MPL and it has a Mexican bell mark with a 2. It weighs an impressive 41.2 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage. A simple and elegant Mexican sterling silver brooch and earrings set by Carmen Beckmann of San Miguel de Allende c1960s. They have a cool modern striking swirl design that is made more dramatic by the deep oxidized channel. They are signed BECKMANN MEXICO STERLING (the two centre letters of Beckmann are missing because the brooch was stamped where the brooch raises up in the centre...). The brooch measures 1-7/8" across and the earrings (which are screw-backs) measure approximately 7/8" across. The clasp is a c-clasp with a simple but effective lift up latch to help secure the brooch next to it. The set is in excellent condition, with no cracks, dents, damage or repairs. A scarce signed vintage Los Castillo Mexican sterling brooch in the shape of a Mayan head with free-swinging arms. This elegant solid cast 2-3/4" x 1-3/8" silver pin weighs 16.1 grams and besides the Los Castillo Mexico round mark it has the bell mark with 15 and a design number 136. It was apparently purchased originally in the 1950s. I have been unable to resist wearing this brooch - it looks great on and has received many compliments.
