A 4" tall porcelain bird figurine by Wade of England. This figure is handpainted and it is the Goldfinch Head Down from the 1930s-50s. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs othe than some fine overall crazing. All
items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A dated vintage 1926 Gene Pressler fashion couple print of Pierrot and Pierrette (we think) backed with advertising for the Pompeian Company. These advertising prints were popular in the 1910s-20s and are known as Yard-longs; they had fashionable couples in exotic settings, cinema stars, and other colour images, backed with advertising for various firms and their products. This example measures 24" x 7" (frame size 26 x 9"), it has the 1926 calendar on the back, and the image has a printed Gene Pressler signature. Guaranteed to be an original print, not a reproduction. The original period frame has nice floral painting in red, green, and gold, and this advertising print is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small loss and pencil notations on the back at the top, some yellowing and water marks visible on the back only; the front is colourful and vibrant with the loss just visible at the top. All
