A fine and original Art Nouveau period 11 x 5-3/8" pewter calling card tray made in Germany by WMF. This tray has the 210 embossed pattern number and WMFB 0X under the boy's hair on the back. It is all original and not a reproduction and we haven't polished it preferring to maintain the wonderful patina only developed with age (many are overpolished or have been silver plated). This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the warm and attractive patina from age and use. A truly fine example of Art Nouveau design. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $22 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT accept PayPal.

An unusual early to mid 19th century Japanese Imari twelve-sided handled mug c1850. This 3-1/8" tall and 3-3/4" across the top Japanese porcelain mug features the Imari colours of red, orange, gold and blue, and it was undoubtedly made for the European market. It has the expected minor pebbling, bubbling and frit in the glaze, and it is in very good original condition with no cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear to the gilding and a small chip to the underside interior rim, which has some underglaze stress cracks. An uncommon item. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $24 (other spots may vary, air is higher). A large and stunning pair of mid nineteenth century European porcelain centerpiece bowls in the form of swans. Made as dining room table decorations with an open center for flowers, fruit, etc., these large and beautifully detailed swans are probably German in origin (both are unmarked). They measure 12-1/2" long and they stand 10" high; they are finely detailed and are in a simple white glaze. They weigh approximately 4 pounds / a bit under 2 kilograms each. They are in very good original condition with no cracks, scrapes, damage or repairs other than a loss to the right foot of one and some bottom-only small craze lines and slight loss to the left foot on the other. These are fairly large and fairly heavy - please email for shipping quotes, which vary by destination. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. A rare English Prattware commemorative cream or milk jug c1798-1806, which we believe was issued to commemorate either the Battle of the Nile (a significant English military battle of 1798) or the battle of Trafalgar (1805), a most significant English military battle still commemorated today in England on Trafalgar Day. This 5-3/8" tall jug has stylized portraits of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson and Captain Edward Berry with orange, brown, cobalt and green glazes on the high-relief modelling. Prattware is not often found in perfect condition, and this piece is not, either. This jug is unrestored except for a primitive and early reattachment of the bottom of the handle. There is some interior browning and staining, some overall crazing and some exterior browning on the spout. The bottom of the handle is missing and the bottom third has been crudely cemented in place. This jug is well worth having professionally restored, and it is a seldom seen English historic commemorative. It is in fair unrestored condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than stated above. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked and insured parcel shipping to the U.S. starts at $27 (other spots may vary, air is higher). Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. A stunning pair of unsigned Bohemian satin glass vases in the early Arts and Crafts style c1900. This wonderful pair stands 9-3/4" tall and they have applied moonstone-like glass jewels along the neck and base. The mounts are gold painted, as is the top edge and the edges of the steppes. The colour is a pale pastel blue/grey with subtle translucence, and this pair is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than the loss of one moonstone jewel and some minor losses to the gold on the upper edges. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Stunning and very rare c. 1910 Jugendstil cigarette case by master silversmith and enameler Georg Adam Scheid, made of sterling silver and bold red enamel. The card or cigarette case has an alligator or snake skin design under the enameling. G. Adam Scheid was a Viennese silversmith and jewelry maker and a master of enamel work. Can double as a business card case. Scheid was commissioned by Tsar Nicolas to create one of a kind jewelry for Tsarina Alexandra of Russia. He was active in Vienna Austria from 1862 to 1913. Works were executed by Koloman Moser. This piece is heavy 900/1000 sterling silver with a matte gold wash. on the inside. Fully signed throughout with several Scheid hallmarks G.A.S. and hexagon touch marks. This is an unusual piece for him as it is fully enamelled. Sotheby's Romanov auction catalog. CONDITIION: Excellent, age appropriate condition with some edge thinning to the enamel that doesn't go all the way down to the silver and can be felt more than seen. A scarce original issue (1970) of the Let It Be album on Canadian Apple. This issue was limited to Canada, England and a few other countries (but never in the U.S.), it came with the single sleeve album (it was issued as a gatefold in the US), a platform with a sunken well for the book, the 160 page glossy, high quality photo book (never issued separately), and a slipcover which fits over the whole package. Difficult to find intact and in good condition (the book was prone to the pages falling away from the spine of the cardstock cover due to the binding method, however a careful hand can reglue the pages en masse back onto the cover. This copy is the Canadian issue which I purchased new in early 1970 (for $8.99!!). Intact & complete, superb shape.
